Micromax Funbook Review

Hi,

If you thought buying a high-performance tablet would burn a hole in your pocket, then you are .................wrong!

Here's the Micromax Funbook. If you thought it has no performance , then read. It has a 1.2 GHz Cortex-A8 processor and Dual Mali-400MP graphics. You can find Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) as its operating system and Accelerometer, Gravity Sensor. But that's a dissappointment as other sensors would enhance on the gaming front. It has 512 MB RAM, 4GB of internal memory and is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card. The screen is a  7 inch Capacitive Touchscreen with 800 x 480 pixels resolution. The camera is not good as it is only 0.3 megapixels. For business users there is a Document Viewer , Document Editor and Live TV too. If you browse the internet , it may take 5-6 hours for battery to become down with its 2800mAh battery. It has 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi. In video, MPEG2, MPEG4, AVI, WMV, 3GP, MOV, MKV, RM, RMVB formats are supported with HD and MP3, WMA, FLAC, WAV audio are supported. It has 3G Dongle Support Via USB and Only Support Tata Photon Dongle and a USB 2.0 port. It also features Resizable Widgets, Games. However, There is No Sim Slot and Can Not Make Calls, Handset Does not Come with Tata Photon Dongle, Customer need to Produce a Funbook Bill in the Nearest Tata Store to Buy an Dongle which will Cost RS: 500 /-.  But it is completely meant for students with e-books, apps ,etc. For a highly afordable Rs 6499, it makes for a great option to buy.
